The Central Mississippi Mayors Association (CMMA) will begin accepting 2027 scholarship applications on December 1, 2026.
Who can apply
Students from Copiah, Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson, Warren or Yazoo counties who will continue their education at a college or university in Mississippi.
What it covers
The scholarship can be used for tuition, textbooks, or room and board.
Details and the application will be available at cmpdd.org/cmma.
Mayors and clerks meet in December
Both CMMA and the City Clerks Association will meet in December. These groups give local leaders a chance to share best practices and discuss issues that directly affect their work and their municipalities.
