CMPDD’s Area Agency on Aging has received a grant opportunity from the Mississippi Department of Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services, to expand access to help through Virtual Mississippi Access to Care (MAC) Centers.
These interactive kiosks will offer touch-screen access to information about services and programs in residents’ own communities. Whether someone is looking for help for themselves or a loved one, they’ll be able to explore resources and connect with support.
The kiosks are designed to be easy to use and to protect users’ information. They’ll be placed at convenient locations throughout Central Mississippi, helping the Area Agency on Aging reach more people who need assistance.
CMPDD appreciates the opportunity to work with MDHS to make resources more accessible to the communities we serve.
