CMPDD provides technical assistance to cities and counties in order to help communities address essential community development needs. This is typically accomplished through a planning and decision making process which includes data collection and analysis, problem identification, evaluation of alternatives, and assistance in the development of goals and objectives, policies, and implementation strategies. Technical assistance services may include strategic plans, economic development strategies, annexation studies, feasibility studies, economic impact studies, recreational trails and green space plans, subdivision regulations, mapping services, or data collection.
