CMPDD seeks comments for the proposed 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program.

CMPDD invites you to review and provide comments on the draft 2025-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Jackson Metropolitan Planning Organization. The 45-day comment period will begin June 17, 2024 and end August 2, 2024.
The TIP is a multi-year listing of planned transportation improvements that have received a commitment of funding from a combination of federal, state, and/or local sources. The draft TIP is available for review below or by attending one of CMPDD’s open house meetings. Your comments, thoughts, and suggestions concerning the draft TIP will be documented and evaluated as part of the TIP planning process before it is finalized. The draft TIP will be considered for adoption by the Jackson Metropolitan Planning Organization during its August meetings.

The draft TIP includes the Program of Projects (POP) for the Federal Transit Administration’s Urbanized Area Formula Program for funds administered by the City of Jackson as part of the operation and maintenance of JTRAN services. The proposed POP will be final unless revised as a result of public comments.
