DRA Announces 2019 Application Cycle

Delta Regional Authority (DRA) has announced the 2019 round of State’s Economic Development Assistance Program (SEDAP) investments. SEDAP investments may be used to fund projects for basic public infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, business development (with focus on entrepreneurship), and workforce development. In Central Mississippi, the SEDAP program is only open to public and non-profit entities in the DRA-designated counties.… Read more.

The Jackson MPO Announces Funding for 31 Metro-Area Transportation Projects

Jackson MPO Adopts Performance Targets

At its November meeting, the Jackson Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO’s) Policy Committee approved a series of performance targets in conformance with new federal legislation rules. New guidelines require State Departments of Transportation (DOTs) and MPOs to assess the condition and set short-term goals for a number of transportation performance areas such as safety, pavement and bridge conditions, travel time reliability, freight reliability, and transit assets.… Read more.
