CMPDD Unveils 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan at a Press Conference

(Jackson, Miss.)—On Tuesday, December 15, the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District (CMPDD) will unveil its 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan at a news conference at 10:30 A.M. at its office located at 1170 Lakeland Drive in Jackson.

 

The CMPDD, which is the Metropolitan Planning Organization responsible for coordinating a federally-mandated transportation planning process for the Jackson Metropolitan Area, has completed the update process to develop the 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan

 

The announcement will include remarks from Mike Monk, the CEO for CMPDD; Dick Hall, the Central District Commissioner of the Mississippi Department of Transportation; and Knox Ross, the Chairman of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.… Read more.
